"Species III" My second 24p Hi-Def feature (released by MGM 12/2004). More glossy and "Hollywood style" than the gritty 'Starship Troopers 2', but also great fun to work on. 'Species III' was shot on a very tight schedule with two 24p HD cameras shooting simultaneously (whenever possible). One often on Steadicam, the other one on the dolly or both hand-held catching all rehearsals. HD has come a long way and the images we were able to achieve look very good. |
